The ASME B16.47 standard covers the specifications for large steel pipe flanges and large steel pipe flange connections. In the ASME B16.47 standard, the lap joint flange is one of them. The ASME B16.47 standard is divided into two series: Series A and Series B, which target different pressure levels and size ranges. Series A contains a higher-pressure level, while Series B contains a medium pressure level.
